N Deal and Karpman's Triangle

Was watching THE BIG FIGHT on NDTV yesterday. Incidentally it was not on the Aarushi murder case but on much talked of (may be hyped) Nuclear Deal.
As expected the panelists were from Congress, BJP, Samajwadi Party and CPI (M).
Listening to the delibrations, just reminded me of the Karpman's triangle that I learnt in conflict mgmt class. Just to get my basics right, i did a google on Karpman's triangle and and thought of fiddling around with the current context.

VICTIM- Congress - "Poor Me"
Feels victimized, oppressed, helpless, hopeless, powerless, ashamed
Looks for a Rescuer (in the form of Left) that will perpetuate their negative feelings.
If stays in Victim position, will block self from making decisions, solving problems, pleasure and self-understanding.
"Dejected" stance.
PERSECUTOR- BJP - "It's All Your Fault"
Sets strict limits unnecessarily.
Blames
Criticizes
Keeps Victim oppressed
Rigid, authoritative stance
"Critical" Parent
RESCUER- Left - "Let Me Help You 'superficially' " (Example - Left Congress N Deal coordination committee)
Rescues when really doesn't want to.
Keeps victim dependent.
Gives permission to fail.
Expects to fail in rescue attempts.
"Superficial" Parent

Actually, all the three players thrive on conflicts. Collaboration holds the key, but all the stakeholder's have their own interests and no common interests. And these players just keep changing positions as per ther interests.
