Summer of 2008
Reminding of the golden last 3 years...
THIS WEEK.............
Its about a year since that we became post graduates.
Its about a year since we entered into the corporate world (for few of us, back to the corporate world)
Its about a year since that we are being perceived by 'junta' as MBA professionals
Its about a year since that as HR professionals we are involved in tactical and strategical activities in our organization
However, it is about a year back, around the same time, that we had our grand convocation ceremony...............
It was that wonderful day when we had the pride when we saw our dear batchmates receive awards & certificates from the VP of India and other dignitaries
It was that wonderful day that we all came back with a lot of zeal and joy that we are meeting back each other after the month long 'block' FW
It was on the wonderful day that many of us got to meet each others parents/family/friends probably for the first time and share pleasantries
It was on that wonderful day when emotions were sinking in and we cajoled each other by saying that we would anyway be in touch with each other
However, it is about two years back, around the same time that we were in the midst of our summer internships...........
It was that wonderful time when we were trying to justify with the other "would be MBA professionals" explaining what it means to be a HR professional
It was that wonderful time when we trying to justify to the new found corporate colleagues what TISS is
It was that wonderful time when we got corroborate the PPT talks in campus and the actual work in the organization and know the reality
It was that wonderful time when we just longed more & more that we get done with internship soon and get back to the most wonderful campus in the world
However, its about three years back, around the same time ..............
It was that time by when most of us had digested with the CAT/XAT/MAT/RAT/BAT/Other entrance exam scores that we had got
It was that time when TISS admissions where yet to happen and it was one of the other options
It was that time of the year when most of us contemplating "What next"
It was that time of the year when we did not know each other
Uffffffff................ I am speaking of summers 2005, while this is summers 2008.....................
